Photoshop tips - Quick photo retouching

Step 1

Open image file into adobe photoshop cs+ version. Make a duplicate layer of that image(right click in background layer).

Step 2

Select spot healing brush tool for removing dark spots and unwanted hair from a photo.

Step 3

Now we need to give blur effect. for that, go to filter > blur > smart blur > change strength to 2.0 > Then click ok.

Step 4

Now we need to add some noise on the photo. for that, go to > filter > noise> add noise.. (noise amount 0.7).

Step 5

After adding blur and noise effect on full Photograph. We need to specify it .(like we need smooth effect only on skin part for photo. Not for eyes, not for hair, not for lips etc…. ). For that, we have to add masking on photo layer. Click on add layer mask > select layer mask(thumbnail) and fill black color to mask .(Ctrl +Del).

Step 6

Next step is to start painting on skin area. For that, first select brush tool . set size to 20 pix (adjust it as per your requirement )and start painting. You will see the result, blur apply’s only on that area where you are painting.
